To access the System Preferences on your Mac, click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences from the dropdown list. You can also see the About This Mac menu.
You can also use this menu to Force Quit apps, Sleep, Restart, and Shut Down your Mac and more. You can also hold down the Options button to access more settings.
