Writing Tools are systemwide tools built into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, powered by Apple Intelligence. They allow users to rewrite, proofread, and summarise text nearly everywhere they write, including Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps.
With Rewrite, users can choose from different versions of their text, adjusting the tone to suit the audience and task at hand. Proofread checks grammar, word choice, and sentence structure, suggesting edits that users can review or quickly accept.
Summarise allows users to select text and have it recapped in various formats, making it easier to digest.
